Summary:
The Warners finally drive Scratchansniff over the edge, and he's shipped off to the funny farm.

Description:
Yakko, Wakko, & Dot invade a meeting of Plotzy's board, and when Scratchansniff fails to tame them, he's held responsible. He finally goes nuts, and is sent to a "loony bin." His replacement, Dr. Bananibal Phrewtkupp, plans to reform the three at any cost, even using broccoli and plaid uniforms. They head off to the institution, and after being locked up themselves, escape and find Scratchy. They get him to come home, and together get rid of Phrewtkupp.

Pages (out of 32): 12 pp.

Quote of the Story:
[The Warners are interviewed by an elderly female doctor.]

DOCTOR: Now then--

YAKKO: Isn't that a silly way to start a conversation, Doc--"now then?" Which is it--now or then?

DOT: Maybe she's caught in a continuous feedback loop in the very fabric of the space-time continuum!

WAKKO: Or maybe she's really an alien with plans to take over the world but she forgot to set her watch!

DOCTOR: [Yelling.]: It was just a figure of speech!

YAKKO: [Pulling an attractive blonde in a skimpy bikini into the shot.]: No, this is a figure of speech! In fact, I could speech about this figure all day long!

DOCTOR: [Slapping Yakko's wrist with a ruler.]: Shame on you, young man!

YAKKO: Eww, where?! Get it off, get it off!

Review:
An okay story. Thankfully, it's no "One Flew Over the Cuckoo Clock"—still, it does get a bit touchy-feely every now and then. But there are a bunch of good bits, and all in all the good outweighs the bad.

Rating: ˝

Title: Useless Facts: "This Month: Cats!" (NOTE: There are no credits listed for this comic.)

Artist: Cosme Quartieri

Description:
Three useless facts about cats as mail carriers in Belgium, mourning over them in Egypt, and why they don't like getting wet.

Pages (out of 32): 1 p.

Review:
Not quite as amusing, or interesting, as the first, but still pretty good.

Rating: ˝

Title: "Mister Director, I Presume"

Writer: Bobbi JG Weiss
Penciller:
Cosme Quartieri
Inker:
Scott McRae
Letterer:
Bob Pinaha
Colorist:
Tom Ziuko

Summary:
The Warners track Mr. Director to France.

Description:
Our heroes are sent to find Mr. Director, who has wandered off again. They find him in the small French village of Pootezvous, where the people actually enjoy his comedy. He refuses to leave, and the people want him to stay too, but they use a magic trick to make him "disappear." Then, after a few more gags, they run off with him, returning to the studio, only to find out that Plotz wants Mr. Director to go to the airport so he can fly to Pootezvous, where he is to be the guest of honor at a film festival.

Pages (out of 32): 10 pp.

Quote of the Story:
MR. DIRECTOR: But you don't understand--!

YAKKO: Oh, we do understand! We just don't care!

Review:
I have no idea why they chose to use the "Hearts of Twilight" version of Mr. Director, rather than the more accepted standard version. Mr. Director certainly loses something in print, without Paul Rugg's tremendous talents giving him life, and the plot is fairly reminiscent of the "Twilight" cartoon. Still, it's fairly enjoyable, with some good routines. Quartieri is a great artist, although his work here isn't his best by far. As far as this story goes, he does a pretty good job, but nothing spectacular…

Rating: ˝

Title: "Hey, Kids!" (NOTE: There are no credits listed for this activity.)

Artist: Neal Sternecky

Description:
A maze, in which we must help the Warners past Scratchansniff and the Nurse, so they can escape from the Warner Lot.

Pages (out of 32): 1 p.

Review:
Pretty much the same as the first maze, although the idea isn't as creative, the artwork isn't as nice, the maze isn't as difficult, and there aren't as many characters involved. Still, it's just a maze…

Rating: [Insert funny armpit noise here.]
