BKN Names Runel to London Post

BKN International has named Benoit Runel as the new managing director of its British BKN New Media subsidiary, Finanztreff reports. Runel will oversee sales and marketing as well as development and pre-production at the London-based animation studio. He joins the company from Jetix Europe.

Chomet Exits "Despereaux"

Oscar-nominated director Sylvain Chomet has bowed out of The Tale of Despereaux and will be replaced by Corpse Bride co-director Mike Johnson, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Reporter cites Chomet’s commitment to another animated project as the reason for the change.
