"Transformers: Evolutions" Teaser Image Posted

An image of what looks like Transformers based on steam-powered locomotives has been posted at Newsarama.com. The image is from IDW Publishing’s The Transformers: Hearts of Steel #1, the first issue of a monthly “alternate reality” Transformers comic book title. The first issue will be written by Chuck Dixon with art by Ted McKeever.

G.I. Joe Tackles Terror in "Special Missions: Manhattan"

Comic Book Resources.com has spoken to the writers of G.I. Joe: Special Missions: Manhattan, coming in February 2006 from Devil’s Due Publishing. The 48-page special will contain one main story by B. Clay Moore and Jeremy Haun, two shorter tales by Mike O’Sullivan, and character profile pages.

"BusinessWeek" Debunks "Disney Buys Pixar" Rumors

An article in BusinessWeek on-line debunks the oft-repeated rumor that the Walt Disney Corporation will buy Pixar Animation Studios and make Steve Jobs the CEO of Disney. The two companies were reported close to renewing their distribution deal, but neither will comment publicly about the negotiations.
