Yahoo! Finance has learned that a new animated series based on Marvel Comics’ X-Men franchise is currently in pre-production for a Summer 2007 release. The new show, primarily focused on Wolverine, will utilize 2D and 3D animation. Twenty-six episodes have been confirmed thus far, similar to the upcoming Fantastic Four and Iron Man shows.
