Sony Snags "Persepolis" for US Distribution

Sony Pictures Classics has acquired the North American rights to Persepolis, an animated adaptation of Marjane Satrapi’s Iranian coming-of-age story, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Satrapi is co-writing and co-directed the film with Vincent Paronnaund.

Harryhausen Launching New Line of Titles

Ray Harryhausen and Mindfire Entertainment are collaborating on a new series of features, TV movies, video games, and merchandise under the “Ray Harryhausen Presents” banner, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Shanda Developing Online Disney Game for China
