ComiPress has published a translation of a recent interview with character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, Gunota Headlines reports. Yasuhiko is famous for his character designs of various anime series including the original Mobile Suit Gundam, which he is currently retelling in the ongoing Gundam: The Origin manga.
Writer Mark Evanier has begun a series on his weblog about the origins of Scrappy Doo. The first installment discusses how stories were pitched on the show, the threat of cancellation looming over the show, and how Scrappy Doo entered into the picture.
AvatarSpirit.net is noting that volume 3 of season 2 of Avatar the Last Airbender is scheduled for release on May 22, 2007. As with volumes 1 and 2, the DVD will be packaged with an exclusive mini-comics. The disc will include episodes 211 (“The Desert”) through 215 (“Tales of Ba Sing Se”).
