Ringo Starr: Superhero?

An article on CNN.com reports that former Beatle Ringo Starr will become an animated superhero in direct-to-DVD animated movies, courtesy of a team-up with Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment. Fox will release four Futurama episodes to DVD on the Futurama: Monster Robot Maniac Fun Collection on May 10, according to TVShowsOnDVD (citing Video Business). Details have not been announced. Nicktoons Picks Up Worldwide Rights to "Kappa Mikey"

Nicktoons has picked up the worldwide broadcast rights to Kappa Mikey, a fish-out-of-water animated action comedy about an American actor who becomes a top star in Japan, the network announced at NATPE today.
