Funimation sees sales spike in 2006-2007

Shoji Kawamori at the head of new "Macross" production

Shoji Kawamori has been confirmed as the story creator, executive director, story supervisor, and mechanical designer for the new Macross series, currently titled Macross 25. The episode directors and script writers have not been announced yet. The production will be animated by the same company that made Macross Zero, Satelight. [source: www.animenewsnetwork.com]
