Paramount Dropping HD DVD on post-March Releases

Paramount Home Entertainment will stop releasing titles in the HD DVD format after its March 4 releases hit the shelves, Video Business Online reports. The announcement covers such upcoming DreamWorks titles as Bee Movie, which DreamWorks’ Jeffrey Katzenberg indicated earlier this week would still ship exclusively on the HD DVD format.
