'Fantastic Four' Animation Sneak Peek On Upcoming DVD

Newsarama reports that the upcoming Fantastic Four animated series will be showcased in an unspecified manner on the DVD release of the upcoming Fantastic Four theatrical film. The Fantastic Four DVD is expected to be released in the fall, and initial TV airings of the new animated show are slated to appear in Fall 2006.

Mile High Comics has released several previews of comics from Marvel and DC scheduled for release on May 4, 2005. Highlights include Batman: Dark Detective #1, which reunites famed 70′s Batman team Steve Englehart, Marshall Rogers, and Terry Austin, and G.L.A. #2 by Dan Slott and Paul Pelletier (She-Hulk).

Marvel and Nickelodeon/Viacom Among Top Licensors in 2004

An upcoming study from License Magazine notes that Marvel Entertainment and Nickelodeon were two of the top licensors in 2004, based on the strength of such properties as Spider-Man, Dora the Explorer, and SpongeBob SquarePants. Marvel’s licensing brought in $4 billion in retail sales, while Nickelodeon licenses brought in $4.75 billion.

Marvel, Paramount Sign Film Pact

Marvel, Lee Settle Lawsuit

Marvel Enterprises and Stan Lee have settled all pending litigation connected to a lawsuit in which Lee laid claim to part of Marvel’s Spider-Man profits, Marvel said today.
