ICv2.com is reporting that Imagi Animation Studios’ Astro Boy has gotten a release date of October 23, 2009, and that it will debut on 3,000 screens in North America. For purposes of comparison, Disney’s WALL-E debuted on 3,992 screens, while Warner Brothers’ The Dark Knight debuted on 4,366. (via Comic Book Resources Comics Reel)
