by Ed Liuon July 10, 2006
There are monster movie fans all over the world, but not many will commit years to create their own computer-animated movie, let alone pioneer new techniques in CGI to do it. "Digiview Anime" Part 2: The Pain! Oh, the Pain!

by Dukeon July 8, 2006
I never expected my last review of what is known as “Digiview anime” to be so popular. Thankfully, kinda, Godfrey Ho (also known as Joseph Lai) has made more than three films in his career, giving Digiview much more ammunition to unleash on the unsuspecting Wal-Marts of the country. But can any of them hope […]

"Tactics Vol. 1": Spirits and Demons and Goblins, Oh My!

by Dukeon July 7, 2006
Fantasy anime are becoming rarer and rarer over here in the States nowadays. Sure, you’ve got InuYasha and some other Rumiko Takahashi works, but the majority of the anime has a sci-fi twist (like Saiyuki or Steel Angel Kurumi). It’s been far too long since we’ve had a good horror/adventure story set in Japan’s past. […]

"Squirrel Boy" It’s Like a Good Cartoon, Only More Boring

by Dukeon July 1, 2006
I’ll admit it, I don’t watch as much of Cartoon Network as I did in the past. I used to watch the channel every day. Now, outside of Toonami, Adult Swim and the weekday runs of Pokémon Advanced Challenge and Naruto, I don’t watch Cartoon Network at all. The network’s newest show, Squirrel Boy, doesn’t […]
