Newsarama.com has posted a 12-page preview of Alex Ross and Jim Krueger’s Justice #1, the first of a 12-issue mini-series pitting the Justice League against the Legion of Doom. Justice #1 is available for pre-order now, with a ship date of August 17, 2005.

Hasbro Grants Transformers Comic Book License to IDW

The Hasbro Property Group has announced that IDW Publishing has been awarded the license to produce Transformers comics, based on the shapechanging robot toy line. An introductory #0 issue will be available in October 2005, with the regular series launch following in January 2006.

G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes Gets Origin in August

$90,000 "Peanuts" Comic Strip Flushed by Naked Woman

A news report from Springfield, OR, reveals that a naked woman tore up an original Peanuts comic strip and flushed it down her toilet.
