Lisa Kirby, daughter of Jack Kirby, has announced the creation of the Jack Kirby Museum and Research Center. The new museum will focus on the study, preservation, and appreciation of Kirby, best known as the co-creator of many of Marvel Comics’ most iconic characters.

IDW Gears Up for "Transformers: Infiltration" in October 2005

IDW has released solicitation information for Transformers: Infiltration #0, the first issue in its relaunched Transformers comic book line. The issue is scheduled for release in October 2005 with a $0.99 cover price with four covers shipping in equal quantities. Simon Furman will write while E.J. Su provides the artwork.

"Sailor Moon" Manga Rights Revert to Original Owners

The Comics Reporter weblog is reporting that Tokyopop has let the North American reprint rights to the Sailor Moon manga revert back to their original Japanese owner. There is currently no further information if any other manga publishing company will attempt to acquire these rights.
