Cool Stuff: Old Fangs

Old Fangs is a nice, moody short in which a young wolf decides to confront his violent father. The animation is appropriate to the character designs, which are simple and angular. There's a point in the story at which you might find yourself thinking, "But, wait. That's what wolves do!", making plot the weakest point of this short.  The short film sports a soundtrack that makes effective use of percussion and strings to create an atmosphere that belies the main character's calm exterior. Use of color in the backgrounds is another one its strengths.
