Three blockbuster films changed release dates this week with two of the films chaning by a day and one removing itself from the schedule altogether. “Star Trek: Into Darkness” was looking at a sold-out opening across the country on its original release date of May 17, 2013, so they moved up to an official release date of May 16, 2013. “The Hangover III” did the same, moving from a May 24, 2013 release date to a May 23, 2013 release date. Meanwhile, dinosaurs-gone-berserk sequel “Jurassic Park 4” was originally scheduled for a June 13, 2014 release but has been removed from the schedule after a late signing of the director [Colin Trevorrow] for that film.
“Jurassic Park 4” is now expected to have a late 2014 release.
