On his Twitter feed, director Chris McKay confirmed that actor Billy Dee Williams will be voicing Two-Face in The LEGO Batman Movie. The actor played Gotham City District Attorney Harvey Dent, the alter-ego of Two-Face, in the first Tim Burton Batman movie, but never reprised the role in any of the movies afterwards, although draft scripts of Batman Returns supposedly set up a Two-Face story arc to establish a third movie. However, once Joel Schumacher took over the 1980’s Batman movie franchise, Williams was passed over for Tommy Lee Jones, who went straight to playing Dent’s Two-Face persona in Batman Forever. Williams is no stranger to voiceover work or even playing LEGO versions of characters, as he has reprised the role of Star Wars’ Lando Calrissian in both Star Wars Rebels and in The LEGO Movie.
The LEGO Batman Movie is slated for release on February 10, 2017.
