New York Anime Festival Debuts December 2007

The organizers of the New York Comic-Con, Reed Exhibitions, have announced that they will be holding the first New York Anime Festival December 7-9, 2007, in the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. The festival’s website will contain more information as it becomes available.

Canada to receive The Anime Channel

The Canadian Radio Television and Telecommunications Commission has approved YTV’s request to create a new network called The Anime Channel. The station will carry a minimum of 65% anime and up to 35% “anime-related” content. (via Zannen, Canada)
