"Jetsons" Live-Action Movie Planned

According to Animation HQ, producer Denise Di Nova says that her next film might be a live-action version of The Jetsons for Warner Bros. A screenplay draft has been written by Sam Harper; Adam Shankman is scheduled to direct. Unconfirmed rumors state that Warner Bros. would like Steve Martin to play George Jetson.

Jeph Loeb To Script "The Spirit"

Coming Soon reports that Jeph Loeb, supervising producer on Smallville, will script a feature film version of the late Will Eisner’s creation, The Spirit.

Deleted Affleck Scene from "Elektra" Now Online

Rope of Silicon.com has posted the lost Ben Affleck cameo from Elektra. The cameo was deleted to prevent a Gigli-like backlash when it was learned that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were dating. The clip, entitled “Come Back,” can be viewed here. Elektra will be released on DVD on April 5, 2005.

Animated "Rambo" Comes to DVD This Summer

Marlon Brando is Jor-El in "Superman"

Latino Review reports that Marlon Brando will once again play Jor-El, Superman’s father, in Superman Returns through the use of stock footage originally filmed by director Richard Donner in Superman.
