Animation HQ reports that a remake of the 80′s animated classic Thundercats is in the works at Warner Brothers. The show’s new look will be similar to The Batman — edgy and anime-inspired. Pre-production is reportedly ongoing. The show should be ready for broadcast sometime in late 2006.

Producer Mark Gordon is developing a big-budget feature film based on Voltron: Defender of the Universe, according to The Hollywood Reporter. No cast or director has been announced, but Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes will score the film and produce the soundtrack.
