Ursula K. LeGuin, the author of the Earthsea series of novels, has posted an English translation of the plot synopsis for Studio Ghibli’s Gedo Senki (Tales from Earthsea). The movie will be directed by Goro Miyazaki and is scheduled for release in Japan in July 2006. (via Nausicaa.net)
A survey by Nikkei BP Consulting has named Studio Ghibli as the top-ranked business-to-consumer brand in Japan, ahead of Toyota. The studio also ranked 4th or higher in all the sections organized by demographic.
