Animated Exeter Runs February 13 – 25

Animated Exeter, a U.K. animation festival, will run from February 13 – 25. The festival will feature the following panels:

“Staying On”
Animation is becoming a more exciting subject for further education and academic research as Joan Ashworth, Head of Animation at the Royal College of Art explains.

“Animation Now”
This panel will discuss starting out and opportunities in the Industry now, with Helen Brunsdon from Aardman, Chris Bateman from International Hobo, Andy Davies-Coward from 422 South and Marion Edwards from Red and Blue Productions, chaired by Chris Chilton from Skillset.

“Bursaries Launch”
Platform to launch new animation bursaries for the South West with Sara Bor from Honeycomb Animation, Jonas Hawkins from Phoenix Media, and Nationally with Louise Spraggon from AIR.

“Studio South West”
The panel will discuss setting up as an animation company in the South West, chaired by Anthony Skates from South West Screen, with Karen Stockdale from Plymouth Media Partnerships, William Todd Jones an independent local animator, and Chris Hopewell and Ben Foley from Collision Films in Bristol.
