I've always admired
and enjoyed Toon Zone as the best and truest online forum available
for the best and truest animation fans. So, for instance, if you're
looking for me (for professional insights, or to advise me on how to
do better voice work), this is where you'll find me. In more modern
parlance, "You guyz iz da once and future bomb!!"

Toon Zone is one of
my "must check" sites that I continually browse and contribute
posts to when I have time. One of the things that I like most about Toon
Zone is the fact that it is always fresh and continually updated. The
moderators play a daily active role in the discussions that keeps Toon
Zone alive in ways that other similar websites don't share. It never feels
stale or like you are digging around in some long-dead archives that haven't
been touched or browsed in years.
Toon Zone's news and
coverage about events within the animation industry is also top-notch.
I'm always shocked at how timely and frequent animation news updates actually
are. I also really enjoy the frequent interviews with industry professionals
that Toon Zone frequently offers.
Toon Zone's administrators
and moderators are also the best. Always welcoming to new posters but
never afraid to keep posts "on-topic." The
"atmosphere" at Toon Zone is such that both professionals and
fans (however, the pros are fans too) feel drawn to the site and it's
fun, lively topics. Keep up the good work, guys!!! Toon Zone is definitely
one of my favorite websites!

Toon Zone has always
been the foremost place to get the best and latest news about comics
and cartoons. May it continue for the next five years and even longer!

Since I first found
out about Toon Zone three years ago I've been blown away as to how much
it has grown and evolved into a site that is not only respected in the
industry but enjoyed and visited by many comic book and animation professionals.
The crew at TZ have been amazing at getting information out to the fans
as well as helping to bring interest and excitement to projects that
might not always have a voice. As a forum for the voice of the fan I
know that Toon Zone has helped me personally on many occasions in getting
to what the fans want. In 5 years time it has transformed from a small
message board for animation fans to a site that animators, comic book
creators and entertainment professionals not only frequent but look
to for the pulse of the entertainment market. Way to go kats!!! Here's
to many more years of greatness! Cheers & Happy Anniversary!

Wow!
Congratulations on five years of Toon Zone. It's great that there is
a place where fans who feel as passionately about the DC animated characters
as I do can gather and share their thoughts and opinions. The fact that
people from all over the world come to Toon Zone to discuss our shows
never ceases to amaze me. We always strive to make the best shows possible,
and I look forward to hearing which episodes spark the most lively discussions.
Whether positive or negative, I love that there is a place here I can
get direct feedback from our most loyal fans.
When the new season
of "Justice League" premieres in October, I'm sure the boards
will once again be buzzing... And we'll be listening.
Keep up the good work!

Writer & Producer, Justice League
Toon
Zone is my favorite place on the web for just about everything. A wide-range
of comic and animation related news, insightful articles, easy to access
new comic solicitations, a friendly and fun message board, behind-the-scenes
material on the various DC Animated Series, and too much more to name
-- it's got it all! And even though I'm spending less and less time
on-line, I still visit Toon Zone on a regular basis -- it's the only
place I need to go! Jim Harvey and the rest of the Toon Zone gang, as
well as the message board posters, have been exceptionally supportive
of my comic work, helping to bring it to the attention of some readers
who my have missed it otherwise. Congratulations on FIVE great years
on-line. Here's to the next FIVE... and many more beyond that!

Toon
Zone is definitely on my bookmark list. Not only do I check the place
out for the latest and greatest in animation, but I get to sample the
fan responses to the shows I do. Thanks for giving fans and professionals
alike such a fun place to gather.

I
find Toon Zone to be my favorite source for news on the WB and Cartoon
Network animated programs and the comics based on them. I check it almost
every day. Happy anniversary Toon Zone!

Toon
Zone is a great site, packed with lots of information about the animation
business. I visit it regularly to get updates on what's going on in
the business, as well as to check out fan feed-back about X-Men:
Evolution and other shows I've worked on in the past. Congratulations
on your 5th anniversary!

As crowded as the
internet is, there seems to be few places fans of the DC animated universe
can go to rant and rave about the latest developments in their world.
Toon Zone manages not only to harbor that community, but also offer
a glimpse into the rest of the comic book universe. And therein lies
the problem: Toon Zone isn’t helping me in the slightest to cut down
on my own internet time.

Thanks
to Toon Zone (and the Internet) diverse, far-flung animation enthusiasts
no longer have to run up hefty phone bills, lick their weight in postage
stamps nor wait weeks for replies to their fevered paper missives. Distance
has utterly lost its tyranny. To those of us in the cartoon racket ('animation
industry' is too dignified) Toon Zone's feedback provides a valuable
tool, sometimes blunt; sometimes sharp but always compelling. I hereby
nominate Toon Zone for governor of California.
Tom Minton
Producer/Writer, Duck Dodgers
Toon Zone provides such an
intelligent and enthusiastic forum for cartoon lovers that it has become
a one-stop, must-view site for those of us who are making the very toons
it comments on. For years, animation producers, animators and writers
toiled away without ANY kind of real feedback - not even from kids! All
we had were the cold, hard numbers of the ratings -- and that's no real
fun. Now, thanks to Toon Zone, we get instant feedback to our efforts
the minute something airs, and the sheer quantity, quality and complexity
of the postings is overwhelming. We especially appreciate the people who
take the time to give very detailed insightful critiques. This past summer,
I've been working again as a writer/story-editor on the second season
of "Static Shock" for Warner Bros., and I can guarantee every
"Static Shock" fan that the creative team here has read EVERY
posting concerning the season of our show that is currently airing. We
may not always agree with the opinions, but we are fully aware of them,
and it definitely has an effect on what we're doing next (and I think
the same goes for my colleagues in the offices right next to mine who
are currently toiling away on scripts for a new season of a popular little
show featuring a bunch of square-jawed superheroes). I also enjoy reading
the talkbacks of my "Spider-Man" animated series of a few years
back. Such is the power of the almighty Toon Zone! So, happy anniversary
Toon Zone. Keep up the great work!

Toon
Zone is the one-stop shop for all lovers of animated shows. It's also
a great nexus of fans and insiders; and it's especially nice to see
message boards that aren't full of bitterness and bad behaviour, just
people who love their toons! I've got it book-marked, and you should,
too! Happy Anniversary, Guys!

Toon Zone has replaced
the New York Times as my number one news source. Not only is the journalism
of a higher standard, it's got much better comics."

Toon Zone: Invaluable
resource, fun place to hang and haven to some of the most dedicated,
knowledgeable fans of animation in general and comic book based animation
in particular.
I first became familiar
with Toon Zone while hunting for background information when I was tapped
to write a fill-in issue of Batman Beyond. Already a fan of the show,
but not having them all on tape, I wanted to double-check a few things,
making sure my memory wasn't faulty on any important points of my story.
In connection with the World's Finest site, Toon Zone proved to be exactly
what I needed. In the long run, it proved to be a lot more.
Although I'd written
a number of comics by then, Batman Beyond #23 was my "mainstream"
debut. Toon Zone gave me a terrific place to get the word out to the
fans ahead of time and to get feedback after the issue came out. Like
a lot of Internet message board posters, the Toon Zoners aren't hesitant
when it comes to telling you what they don't like. Unlike a lot of Internet
message board posters, they are equally vocal in letting you know what
they do. Luckily (with apologies to Sally Field), they liked me. They
really liked me.
Or at least my story.
The support I received
on Toon Zone for that first foray was tremendous and it has followed
me as I've continued to work on the various and sundry DC Animated comics.
When I snagged the second issue slot on Justice League Adventures, the
'Zoners were there, buying the book and telling me what they thought
worked and didn't. Likewise, they were some of the biggest boosters
for my Gotham Girls series when it was announced. Their enthusiasm meant
a lot to me then and it still does now.
Kudos to TZ for
5 years celebrating Animation and Comics. Keep watching, reading, reporting
and posting. As long as you do, I'll still be around!
Best,
Paul D. Storrie
Writer, DC Comics' Gotham Girls, Justice League Aventures,

What can I say?
There's only about two or three sites I look at every day online...CNN,
NYTimes and Toon Zone. Easily the three most important sites for news
in my version of the web. Since DC stopped including letters pages in
our books, Toon Zone is the BEST place for me to hear what the fans
are talking about, what they want, and what we did right or wrong this
month in Batman Adventures.
It's also a community
here...you NEVER see flame wars and folks are respectful even if they
disagree. That makes people want to participate. I imagine there's less
"lurking" here than at other sites.
Brian, Jim, and
all the others here, make it my #1 website for comics news and fan posts,
no kidding. (Sure, I go to the Pulse, and CBR and Silver Bullet, etc.
from time to time, but I actually do check in at the Toon Zone pretty
well daily.)
Plus...the galleries,
the news, the Dark Knight Adventures...What more do ya want, eh?

Zone Forums is the one true source on the web for all animation-related
opinions of someone named livingfruitvirus. We also come here to be
slandered and read completely innacurate things about our show, because
we're sick and we get off on our own humiliation. But we're also rich
and we don't care. Matt drives a Volvo. If you're not familiar with
the word "Volvo", it's from Sweden. You probably can't afford
to go there. And if you don't believe me, please contact Vishal Roney

OY! 5 years hurts
my head like an anvil dropped off a cliff.
Toon Zone's been here for that long and still going strong. Quite an accomplishment
when you consider the longevity of most websites. They're easy to start,
hard to maintain and easy to quit.
Congrats to Toon Zone
on being a top resource for animation news and here'sto five more years!"
