4Kids Profits Fall in First Quarter
4Kids Entertainment earned $1.5 million in the first quarter of 2006, down from $2.0 million in the same period last year, the company reported earlier this week. Revenues fell to $19.8 million from $20.3 million in the same period last year.
The company said that declining licensing revenues from Yu-Gi-Oh! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles offset increased revenue from Cabbage Patch Kids and Winx Club.
