343 Industries shared several new details about the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection at its Comic-Con International event today.
Most intriguing might be the quick glimpse of a remastered version of the popular Zanzibar Map from Halo 2 that you can see above. Six maps are being remastered. Ascension, Coagulation, and Zanzibar have now been revealed, the others are still being kept under wraps.
According to a report on the panel from comingsoon.net, the game:
- Will allow players to play a campaign mode that runs through Halo to Halo 4.
- Includes more than 100 maps.
- Has a “flashback” mode that allows toggling between remastered graphics and original graphics. Sounds like a lot of fun.
- Has a new interface that allows players to jump into any game and any mission. Everything’s unlocked from the start.
The panel also showed off some of Blur Studio’s work on the cutscenes, which you can see in the video up top.
The game will be out for Xbox One Nov. 11.
