More Details Emerge on Pixar's "Inside Out"
The Hollywood Reporter has covered an advance look at Pixar’s Inside out screened in Hollywood last week for members of the press. Present were film director Pete Docter and producer Jonas Rivera, detailing how the film will use the mind of an 11-year-old girl named Riley as the setting, as five of her emotions struggle against each other to control Riley’s decision-making process: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness.
The writeup details the first five minutes of the movie, which are described as having a comparable impact as the first five minutes of Up; as well as a second clip that shows the result of an argument between Riley and her parents, with the movie jumping into the parents’ heads as well and depicting their emotional avatars inside their minds (which resemble Riley’s, except that Dad’s have mustaches and Mom’s have glasses and pearls).
Inside Out is scheduled to premiere on June 19, 2015.
