PR: Wolverine Weapon X: Tomorrow Dies Today DVD Releases May 13

Shout! Factory is releasing a DVD collection of the motion comic Wolverine Weapon X: Tomorrow Dies Today, which will be out May 13. The trailer above promises plenty of snikting, some time travel, a gaggle of Deathloks (gaggle is the scientific term for a group of Deathloks), and appearances by Captain America. The DVD is based on a 2010 story by Jason Aaron and Ron Garney.

From the preview the motion comic art looks really good, and preserves Garney’s style. The only thing that weirds me out is a bit is Deathlok’s voice. In the 30 years or so I’ve been reading about Deathlok, I never imagined it would have a robot voice, because its mouth is still in the human part. I always imagined a gruff kind of zombie voice. Oh well. That shouldn’t get in the way of the action.

If you’ve noticed that Cap looks a little different in the preview, that’s because at this point his protege Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier was filling in for a while.
