Roy Harper, hepped up on mirakuru, spends the entire episode angry but somehow manages to keep his hoodie perfectly coiffed.

Synopsis: Mirakuru-fueled Roy goes on a rampage while keeping his hoodie firmly intact the entire time and Slade Wilson kills Moira.

Details: Team Arrow has saved Roy from being part of Slade Wilson’s mirakuru-fueled army but Roy breaks out of Arrow Lair and goes on a rampage in Starling City – but not before having enough fashion sense to put on his hoodie which must have been conveniently lying around.

Thea, who seems to be maintaining the annoying character traits the writers have concocted for her character in this series, continues her annoying ways by claiming the Club Verdant is hers and threatening to refuse Moira the usage of it for her campaign rally.

In flashback mode, the entire episode is spent detailing a prickly situation where Oliver tells Moira that he impregnated a non-Laurel girl leading Moira to pay off the non-Laurel girl with a large check in exchange for her telling Oliver she lost the baby and leaving the city, supposedly never to be heard from again though obviously setting up a dramatic return of mother and child in a future episode.

Meanwhile, Angry Roy spends most of this episode beating up everybody in his path yet remarkably keeping his hoodie on his red and perfectly in place the entire time. First, he tosses off Sara and injures Arrow, then appears to kill two police officers [who are either afraid or unable to use their guns or tasers or any other device they may carry – evidently Starling City police officers just drive cars, point guns and let people escape from jail in their poorly lit stations] and finally, after voices in his head tell him he has to kill Thea, he goes after her.

Roy finally finds a way to get Thea to shut the hell up.

Roy finally finds a way to get Thea to shut the hell up.

Moira tells Seb Blood she is intending to drop out of the mayoral race but then Oliver talks her out of it and she merely uses her Club Verdant campaign rally to continue her campaign while Thea usurps it temporarily to attract/entrap Roy, who is then shot in the leg by Sara and knocked out with three venom-laced arrows by Arrow and taken back to the Arrow Lair.

Instead of the usual dragged out, dramatic typical relationship crumbling situation, Sara opts for breaking up with Arrow with inexplicable speed and promptly leaves Starling City to “go see an old friend” or a man about a horse.

The scenario roundup – yeehaw! – begins with Slade Wilson ambushing the Queen family limousine, recreating the situation Oliver was in on the island when Ivo forced him to choose between killing Shado and Sara and then killing Moira [with a sword] while in flashback mode Oliver learns from Moira that the non-Laurel girl has lost her baby and gone back to Central City – a revelation which doesn’t exactly make Oliver too distraught.

The Poop and Skinny: Moira becomes the 472nd person in Starling City to know that Oliver’s alter-ego identity is Arrow – and she claims she knew it last year!

The episode was originally scheduled to be the episode where Barry is revealed as The Flash before CW gave Flash his own spinoff series. Instead, alas, we get an episode which should have been titled “Way Too Much Thea”.

As completely expected, Slade and his sycophant Seb Blood attempt to take control of Starling City while Arrow/Oliver considers just giving up in the next episode entitled “City of Blood” on April 30.

Burning question for the next episode of “Arrow” – How long will it take for the number of people in Starling City who know Arrow’s identity to reach 1000?

As always – it is important to remember that, at any juncture where the situation appears to be dire for Arrow/Oliver and his very life may be in danger – there would be no more show [and therefore no more money to be made] if he were to die. You continue to be welcome.

Slade Wilson kills Moira with a sword and Oliver finds this to be unpleasant.
