Insane British Chip Shop Builds 10,000 Calorie "Ulti-Meatum" Burger from "Regular Show"
Corinne Clarkson in Preston, Lancashire, UK, owner of the Mister Eaters chip shop, is now offering the “Ulti-Meatum” burger featured in the Regular Show episode “The Best Burger in the World.” The Ulti-Meatum encases an entire cheeseburger inside another burger, and then uses two more whole cheeseburgers as buns. In total, the real-world Ulti-Meatum contains five pounds of beef, six slices of cheese, and two extra-large buns special ordered to fit the gargantuan sandwich.
In the show, the awesomeness of the Ulti-Meatum meant it was only available once every century from the Grill ‘Em Up Truck, but Mister Eaters will sell them for £20 (approx. US$33 at current exchange rates). However, the extraordinarily brave/hungry/stupid/suicidal can get one for free if they are willing to accept the challenge to eat the entire thing in one visit (presumably under an unspecified time limit). For the same £20, eager consumers can buy pre-cooked components of the Ulti-Meatum to consume at home.
