Harlem Hellfighters May Be Coming To Big Screen

After purchasing the film rights to Max Brooks’ graphic novel “World War Z” and making that into a feature film starring Brad Pitt, Sony Pictures has purchased the film rights to Brooks’ next graphic novel – “Harlem Hellfighters” – about the African-American World War I-era 369th Army infantry regiment that spent the most time in direct combat than any other American unit during WWI. Brooks is the son of famous comedian/filmmaker Mel Brooks.

“Harlem Hellfighters”, the graphic novel, expected to become available in April 2014.
