Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has met with Hollywood types to sell them on the Xbox One.

We are mere days away from the Electronic Entertainment Expo – lovingly or catatonically referred to as E3 – and Microsoft has begun making pre-emptive strikes to hype its new Xbox One cable-music-gamer-all-in-one black box of presumed joy. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and entertainment studios president Nancy Tellem were dispatched to Hollywood from Microsoft HQ in Washington state to begin the process of wooing and converting Hollywood types to love the Xbox One and consider it to be their best friend. The pair met with various studio bigwigs and high-powered agents in the Hollywood industry, including Sony TV boss Steve Mosko who might be disinclined to look favorably upon the Xbox One – unless, of course, he’s a spy for the PS4!

Microsoft’s Xbox One is expected to debut in November 2013 and retail for somewhere between $350 and $500.
