E32013: Sony PS4 Exclusive Games Announced
Sony’s PlayStation 4 console will be coming in at $100 less than the massively hyped Microsoft Xbox One, assess no restrictions on used games and, perhaps most importantly of all, will be a true gaming console focused on gaming, as was emphasized with their roster of video games available on the PS4 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo [E3] in Los Angeles.
Sony’s new titles are led by a “Mad Max”-style game in conjunction Warner Bros. that will have players scavenging a landscape called The Wasteland as they look to build their ultimate combat vehicle, similar to the concept employed in the movie that launched Mel Gibson’s film career [yes, but will there be a Humongous?]. After that, there was “The Order: 1866”, a steampunk era game that allows time travel, magic usage and communications with dead people; “Kingdom Hearts 3” [a role-playing game which arrives on the PS4 in 2014]; “Driveclub” [ a new racing game], “Final Fantasy XV” [the latest installment in the long-running series], “Killzone: Shadow Fall” [the fourth console-based launch in the first person shooter series] and “inFAMOUS: Second Son” [an open world action-adventure game available in 2014].
The Electronic Entertainment Expo is held at the Convention Center in Los Angeles from June 11-13, 2013.
