Bratt Takes Over For Pacino In Despicable Me 2 Villain Revolving Door
Veteran actor Al Pacino was supposed to voice the villain Eduardo in the upcoming “Despicable Me 2” film – the sequel to the popular original starring Steve Carell as the main character, Gru. But that was last week, a whole weekend went by and now, this week, it’s Modern Family’s Benjamin Bratt who will voice the Eduardo character after Pacino departed due to the always entertaining euphemism “creative differences” [translation: he wanted more moolah]. You would have thought that a film with a summer release would have already had its villain voiced but, no, they didn’t.
“Despicable Me 2” is currently scheduled to be released July 3, 2013.
