Nolan’s Interstellar Gets A Date And Stays In The Family
With “Inception” and a few Batman films under his belt, director Christopher Nolan has undoubtedly earned the right to pick and choose who he wants to be on his team for his next film – the sci-fi pic “Interstellar” – and he has done just that by using a script from his brother, Jonathan, and having the film produced by his wife, Emma Thomas. The plotline is thin so far –“a heroic voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding” – which seems to be code for such cosmic destinations as the other side of a black hole, the edges of the currently known universe or a voyage back to the original big bang. No word on how many more relatives Nolan will employ on the film [the cousins are beginning to get restless] or casting decisions, including whether or not the lead character’s name will be Higgs Boson.
“Interstellar” is currently scheduled for a November 7, 2014 release.
