Not enough fake blood was used in this scene from a previous ‘Evil Dead’ movie, but more has been promised in the upcoming remake as well as the sequel to the remake [yes, you read that right].

The original 1981 drive-in caliber horror flick “Evil Dead” spawned a pair of sequels and cemented director Sam Raimi and actor Bruce Campbell in the horror film hall of fame. But with advances in fake blood technology since the 1980s, the upcoming remake of the horror trilogy – which features a group of the usual intellectually-challenged horror film types accidentally releasing demonic forces and buckets of fake blood – was unable to use up their fake blood budget and director Fede Alvarez has already announced a sequel to the remake and promises up to 25% more fake blood for dismemberment scenes in the remake sequel.

“Evil Dead” is currently scheduled for an April 5, 2013 release.
