PR: Konami offers gamers exclusive play of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance ahead of European launch
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH is giving gamers in the UK the chance to play Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance ahead of the European launch by hosting a Metal Gear party.
By agreeing to host a Metal Gear party on Saturday 16th February, gamers will not only receive their advance copy but also an exclusive party pack themed around Metal Gear. Bringing the game’s content to life and helping hosts to start their party. the packs include custom wristbands, t-shirts and posters plus a plethora of bespoke party props. Konami is partnering with live marketing agency Come Round to offer 250 people in the UK the chance to receive a pre-ordered copy one week before anyone else in the world, and an opportunity to meet the creator of the Metal Gear series Hideo Kojima.

Gamers can apply to host a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Party via http://www.comeround.com/mgr. 250 lucky party hosts will be chosen at random with each receiving their pre-ordered game in advance of everyone else. A minimum of nine guests are required to qualify as a host and applicants are encouraged to read the full terms and conditions found on the online submission form.
METAL GEAR RISING: Revengeance uses Raiden as its central character: a child soldier transformed into a half-man, half-machine cyborg ninja, equipped with his signature High-Frequency Blade and fuelled by revenge. it will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 across Europe on February 22nd.
