SCOOB-ERIFIC LABOUR DAY WEEKEND MARATHON

 

It’s a Scoob-erific weekend marathon on TELETOON. Viewers can watch their favourite Scooby-Doo movies for the entire Labour Day weekend. Beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday September 1 until 6 p.m. on Monday September 3. Tune in to catch all the fun. Favourites include Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders (2000), Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins (2009)

and Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantasaur (2011).

 

TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY

 

Wednesday, September 19 is TELETOON’s very own Talk Like A Pirate Day! With the aid of a pair of Multivision Specs, a Hatter can enter the Other Dimension in order to protect its inhabitants from notorious villains. Despite this huge responsibility, Matt still finds a way to have fun on his adventures with the help of his friends Roxie and Gomez.

Last year Ethan Morgan’s over-protective parents unknowingly assigned a fledgling vampire babysitter, Sarah, to watch over him and his eight-year-old sister. Season 2 of My Babysitter’s a Vampire finds Sarah adjusting to being a full-blooded vampire, while Ethan refuses to give up on his dreams of finding a cure for vampirism and getting up the nerve to ask Sarah on a date. On top of all that, Ethan and his friends soon discover they have a mysterious new enemy determined to wipe out all the supernatural competition in their hometown of Whitechapel. Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge

They must also master their elemental powers (Lightning, Earth, Ice and Fire). Only then can these four young apprentices hope to defeat the evil Lord Garmadon and save the world.

 

Transformers Prime (Season 2)

The Amazing World of Gumball (Season 1)

The Amazing World of Gumball tells the story of an extraordinary suburban family who just happen to live in an ordinary town. There’s Dad, a 6’4″ pink rabbit who stays at home while Mom works in the rainbow factory. Their kids are pretty standard too: there’s Gumball, a blue cat with a giant head, Anais, a four-year-old genius bunny and Darwin, a pet goldfish who became part of the family when he sprouted legs. At the heart of The Amazing World of Gumball is Gumball, a kid who faces the trials and tribulations of any 12-year-old; like being chased by a rampaging T-Rex, having a robot steal his identity, or dressing as a cheerleader to impress the girl of his dreams.

This original new series Fugget About It is an animated sitcom about the misadventures of a former New York mob boss and his family, who are living in witness protection in Regina, Saskatchewan.

 

Jimmy Falcone was once a feared capo in the Gambini crime family, but when his associates insisted he whack his good old Uncle Cheech, Jimmy had to draw the line. When Jimmy pleads for Cheech’s life to Don Gambini, their meeting ends with Jimmy hurling the crime boss out of a 19-storey window. With the mob out to kill him, Jimmy has no choice but to turn to the dark side and become a witness for the Feds. Jimmy and his family are sent into witness protection in cold, snowy Regina, where it’s hard for a quick-tempered goodfella to live as a regular schnook among naïve, kind and friendly Canadians.

THE JETSONS 50TH ANNIVERSARY

 

This September The Jetsons celebrate their 50th anniversary. The show made its debut on September 23, 1962 and was the first TV program to air in color on ABC. Produced by Hanna-Barbera, the program was an animated half-hour sitcom set one hundred years in the future and was a futuristic counterpart to the popular show The Flintstones. To celebrate this milestone, TELETOON will be airingJetsons: The Movie on Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m. ET and an encore on Saturday, September 22 at 1 p.m. ET, as well as 12 back-to-back episodes of The Jetsons on Sunday, September 23 beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
