"Ice Age: Continental Drift" Tops North American Box Offices
Ice Age: Continental Drift topped box office charts during its first weekend with a film gross of $46 million, Box Office Mojo reports. The Amazing Spider-Man dropped to second place with a gross of $35 million, bringing its North American cumulative to $200.9 million.
Ted took third place with a gross of $22.1 million ($159.0 million), and Pixar’s Brave took the number four spot with a gross of $10.7 million ($195.6 million).
Farther down in the rankings, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted took the number 10 spot with $3.5 million ($203.7 million), and Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax reached a cumulative gross of $213.7 million.
