Andrew Stanton will return to his Pixar roots by directing a sequel to Finding Nemo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Stanton wrote and directed the first film, which is one of the most successful movies ever released by the Walt Disney Company. Earlier this year he bookended that record with the live-action film John Carter, on which Disney took a $200 million loss.
The sequel is beginning with a screenplay by Victoria Strouse. It is expected to get a 2016 release.
