CARTOON SCIENCE

From November 1-18, TELETOON celebrates the unreal world of cartoon science with special film and series programming. From Monday to Friday, catch Tom and Jerry Tales starting at 4 p.m. ET/PT, The Looney Tunes Show at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT, and special Looney Tunes films each day at 5 p.m. ET/PT. From November 1-4, catch special Looney Tunes theatrical shorts before the movie presentations.

Man vs. Cartoon (New Episodes)

Airs Monday to Thursday, November 1-17 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
Can man succeed where cartoons have failed? What will happen when a team of techies try to recreate some of the funniest and most dangerous stunts and sight gags from the land of cartoons? Real people attempt stunts like those done by Looney Tunes characters. Will these humans have more success than classic Warner Bros. characters like Wile E. Coyote, or will they end up seeing stars?

Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz (2011) (Network Premiere)

Airs Friday, November 4 at 5 p.m. ET/PT

They’re off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz! Tom and Jerry soar over the rainbow and travel down the yellow brick road in this all-new animated retelling of the classic tale. You’ll see your favorite characters: Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Lion, the Wicked Witch of the West, the Wizard, the Munchkins and more. You’ll hear many of your favorite songs, including Over the Rainbow, and you’ll laugh at the antics of your favorite cat and mouse as they get twisted up in a twister, go paw to paw against flying monkeys, and storm the Wicked Witch’s castle in a heroic attempt to get Dorothy and Toto (and themselves) safely back to Kansas. After all, there’s no place like home!

Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003)

Wednesday, November 16 at 5 p.m. ET/PT

From the Warner Bros. back lot to Las Vegas, Paris and the jungles of wildest Africa, Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, their looniest friends and Warner Bros. security guard/aspiring stuntman DJ Drake embark on a madcap quest for the Blue Monkey Diamond. The diamond is also sought by an evil corporate overlord and the dashing star of a spy-film franchise. Starring Brendan Fraser, Jenna Elfman and Steve Martin.

TELETOON will host a LEGO programming block featuring series, specials and films Monday to Friday, November 21-25, starting at 4 p.m. ET/PT.

LEGO Ninjago (New Episodes)

Airs Monday to Friday, November 21-25 at 4 p.m. ET/PT

The world is under threat with Lord Garmadon using his skeleton army to rebuild the world in his image. The only thing that stands in his way is four young apprentices on shaky ground. The apprentices are not ready. They need to master Spinjitzu, an ancient and powerful martial art where a ninja moves so fast his actions turn into a tornado. LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace (Special)
Airs Friday, November 25 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
A group of Jedi younglings are on a field trip to learn more about the good works of the Republic with their tour guide, Master Yoda. When they arrive at the Senate, they are handed over to C3PO and R2D2, when Yoda quickly realizes there is a disturbance in the force. A Sith Lord has infiltrated the Senate Chamber and is trying to steal a set of vital Republic battle plans. Yoda is off to deal with the baddies, but is hampered in his efforts when a young stowaway named Ian’s taste for action is discovered. Meanwhile, R2 and 3PO are now in charge of the younglings, while chaos and danger erupts around them. The droids have to make sure their charges are safe as their attempts to stay in control and out of sight are foiled, over and over again.

FRED AT NIGHT

Fred Kennedy hosts the second season of the “Fred at Night” programming block Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Fred introduces series’ episodes for the night, shares his views on the animation style, characters and storylines and provides commentary on his many passions from music, comics, movies, technology, celebrities and current events. TELETOON at Night caters to an audience of older teens and adults with a lineup of edgy animated comedies and blockbuster movies.

Crash Canyon (New Episodes)

Life for the Wendells takes a life-altering turn when they drive off a cliff and land at the bottom of a canyon. In his future home of “New New York City,” Fry goes to work for the Planet Express Intergalactic delivery company, where he becomes friends with Bender, a beer-fueled robot, and sets his romantic sights on Leela, a sexy Cyclops who occasionally beats him up.

Archer revolves around the spy agency known as the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS) and the lives of its employees. Although their work of espionage, reconnaissance missions, wiretapping and undercover surveillance is daunting and enigmatic, every covert operation and global crisis are actually unmitigated occasions for the ISIS staff to undermine, sabotage and betray each other for personal gain, pleasure and prosperity. The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer and Amber Nash.

Robot Chicken (Encore Presentations)

King of the Hill (New Episodes)

King of the Hill is a hilarious animated half-hour comedy series from the creator of Beavis & Butthead and the former writers of The Simpsons and Saturday Night Live. The series follows the day-to-day activities of Hank Hill, his family and their neighbours in a suburban Texas town. Hank works at Strickland Propane where his position as Assistant Manager earns him the respect of his pals. Hank’s wife, Peggy, is a homemaker who often finds herself saying “I told you so” as she watches him do things the hard way. Peggy is also the pillar of emotional support for their only son, Bobby. Although Bobby is Hank’s pride and joy, he is more often than not the unenthusiastic recipient of his father’s over-enthusiastic instructions on “how to be a man.”

Based on the successful toy series by Hasbro, G.I. Joe is the code name for an elite strike force comprised of personnel from all branches of the United States military. Based on the hugely popular Marvel Comics adventures, one of the world’s most beloved characters swings into action in this half-hour animated adventure series.
