The Associated Press reports that former wrestling champion “Macho Man” Randy Savage has died earlier today in a car accident in Florida at the age of 58.

Savage, whose real name was Randy Poffo, was known for his raspy voice, colorful attire, and his catchphrase, “Ooh yeah!” He wrestled in the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) from 1985-1993, winning the Intercontinental Championship from Tito Santana, and becoming the WWE champion in a tournament defeating the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase at WrestleMania IV.
