JERRY TRAINOR HOSTS TWO-HOUR T.U.F.F. PUPPY MARATHON SATURDAY, APRIL 9, WITH ALL-New EpiSODE AT 10:00 A.M. (et/pt)

Nickelodeon kicks off its super-charged Saturday-morning animation block with a T.U.F.F. Puppy marathon hosted by fan-favorite Jerry Trainor (iCarly and voice of Dudley Puppy on T.U.F.F. Puppy), this Saturday, April 9, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT). A brand-new episode of T.U.F.F. Puppy, premieres at 10:00 a.m. (ET/PT). Quarter to date, the series ranks as the number-two animated series with kids 2-11 on all TV (behind only SpongeBob SquarePants), averaging 3.3 million total viewers during its Saturday morning premieres.

In the first half of the T.U.F.F. Puppy premiere, “Mind Trap,” Dudley, Kitty and Keswick try on a mind-reading helmet and are insulted by Chief’s secret opinion of them. The wicked Snaptrap steals the mind-reading helmet, goes on a wild crime spree and kidnaps the Chief. The gang must put their hurt feelings aside long enough to rescue the Chief from Snaptrap’s evil clutches. In the second half of the premiere, “Forget Me Mutt,” Dudley is the only T.U.F.F. agent who overhears Snaptrap’s latest diabolical plan. Unfortunately, he develops a form of amnesia which has him believing he’s the Chief, Kitty, Keswick and the vile Snaptrap. Kitty is left to thwart D.O.O.M.’s latest evil plan.

T.U.F.F. Puppy follows Dudley Puppy, a gung-ho, dim-witted dog who finds himself accidentally thrust into the role of secret agent when he’s recruited by the super-secret, crime-fighting organization, T.U.F.F. (Turbo Undercover Fighting Force). He partners with Kitty Katswell, a feline superspy who is an amazing kung-fu and weapons expert. Naturally, they don’t get along, but together they protect their hometown of Petropolis and the rest of the world against the evil animal organization, D.O.O.M. (Diabolical Order of Mayhem).
