Zynga Starts Week-Long "Rango" Promotion
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Zynga, the social gaming company behind such hits as FarmVille and Mafia Wars, has partnered up with Paramount/Nickelodeon to promote the theatrical release of Rango.
The advertising integration, which started this afternoon, will allow FrontierVille users to play Rango themed quests and even win a Rango trophy inside the game for the entire week.
An estimated 15 million players log on to FrontierVille daily, a fact that many find to be a huge asset.
Rango opens nationwide on Friday, March 4, 2011.
