Guilty Plea for Islamic Extremist "South Park" Threats

The New York Times reports that Zachary Chesser (a.k.a. Abu Talha al-Amrikee) has pleaded guilty to three counts including communicating threats, soliciting others to threaten violence, and material support to Somali Islamic militant organization Al-Shabab. Chesser ran numerous websites that called for violence against Americans, specifically mentioning South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for their perceived slights against Islam in the 200th episode of the show. Comedy Central censored the subsequent episode as a result of the posts made on the RevolutionMuslim.com website.

Chesser was arrested by Federal authorities in July as he was planning to travel to Somalia to attempt to join Al-Shabab.
