TVShowsOnDVD is reporting that Pirates of Dark Water will be released on DVD by Warner Archive on August 31, 2010, and is available for pre-order via WBshop.com. The 4-disc set will contain all 21 episodes of the series for a retail price of $29.95. No extras will be included on the set. TVShowsOnDVD is also hosting an exclusive trailer for the set, along with box art.
TVShowsOnDVD is also reporting that more classic cartoons are being prepared, with Thundarr the Barbarian and Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space being the most commonly mentioned possibilities.
