Otakon2010: Bandai Entertainment Announces Two New Titles, K-On Casting

At their “Bandai After Dark” panel at Otakon, Bandai Entertainment announced the licensing of two new anime titles for home video release. The first was The Girl Who Leapt Through Space (a.k.a. Sora Kake Girl), a sci-fi action series starring three girls who are mecha pilots in a future where humanity has emigrated to space colonies in outer space. The second was the three-episode OVA My-Otome 0~S.ifr~, a prequel to the TV series My Otome.

Bandai also made news by making two sudden casting announcements for K-On!. Stephanie Sheh was announced for the role of Yui, while Cristina Vee was cast as Mio. The dub is being produced by the voice acting studio Bang Zoom! Entertainment. Bandai also confirmed that the series would be released on both DVD and Blu-Ray.
