Cable TV Ratings: May 31 – June 6, 2010
In the list of cable top 25 shows (based on total viewers) for the week of May 31 – June 6, 2010, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants placed four spots. The most watched was the Monday morning airing at 11AM with 4.3 million viewers (ranked 14th for the week). A repeat of the hour-long “Truth or Square” special on the same morning at 10AM scored 3.9 million viewers (ranked 19th). The other two airings, both on Saturday at 9:30AM and 11:30AM, scored 4.3 million and 3.9 million viewers, respectfully. No other animated series were in the cable top 25 for the week.
Some Cartoon Network ratings for the week include an Adventure Time repeat (Monday at 8PM) with 1.6 million viewers, a new Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (Friday at 8PM) with 1.4 million viewers and a new Generator Rex (Friday at 8:30PM) with 1.3 million viewers.
For the week in total day and total viewers, Nickelodeon was the #1 network with an average of 2.5 million viewers, Nick at Nite placed second with 1.7 million, Disney Channel ranked third with 1.6 million, Adult Swim placed sixth with 1.1 million and was slightly ahead of Cartoon Network, which placed seventh with 1.1 million, and Nick Jr. ranked 25th with 557,000 viewers. In primetime (8-11PM) and total viewers, Disney Channel placed second with 2.0 million viewers, Nick at Nite ranked fourth with 1.9 million and Cartoon Network placed 15th with 1.1 million.
For the week in total day and the kids 2-11 demo, in order from first to eighth place, Nickelodeon (1.3 million), Disney Channel (903,000), Cartoon Network (575,000), Nick at Nite (462,000), Nick Jr. (377,000), Adult Swim (190,000), Disney XD (162,000) and Nicktoons (106,000).
