Japanese voice actor Daisuke Gôri (real name Yoshio Nagahori) was found dead on January 17, 2010, with blood dripping from his wrist. A knife and last will were found nearby leading the police to investigate the death as a suicide.

The deep voiced Mr. Gôri was well known by Dragon Ball fans for his roles of Mr. Satan, Umigame, Gyû-Maô, Great King Enma, and Great King Cold, as well as Robin Mask in the Kinnikuman series, Dozle Zabi and Bask Om in the Gundam series, Hiromi Yamazaki in the Patlabor series, Yosemite Sam in the Japanese dub of Looney Tunes cartoons, and numerous other roles in his 30+ year career in anime.
