"Hip Hop" Animates Easter Bunny for Sony

The Hollywood Reporter states that Sony Animation has acquired Hip Hop, a CGI/live-action hybrid movie by Greg Ostrin and Michael Weiss. The movie follows what happens when the Easter Bunny retires and tries to hide out in a suburban family’s home. The movie will be competing with I Hop, the first live-action movie for the animation-centric Illumination Entertainment, where a slacker hits the Easter Bunny with his car, and has to replace the rabbit to save Easter. No targeted release dates were mentioned for either film.
