by onFebruary 19, 2009

IFC.com has interviewed director Henry Selick about directing Coraline. Among other topics, Selick discusses how children process scary stories like Coraline, what scared him as a child, the painstaking stop-motion animation process, filming in 3-D, in-jokes and references that may or may not be present in the movie, and how he feels about the fact that many people think Tim Burton directed The Nightmare Before Christmas.
